The Burden of Christ's Prayer
We read in Matthew 11 where Jesus says "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." But we also see that even Jesus Christ prayed. Is there any significance in that prayer. Join us as we find the burden Christ had in His prayer.

It is great because of the person who prayed the prayer and the occasion. It is great because of the occasion that demanded the prayer. “Far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and right way” (1 Sam. 12:23). It is great because of the petitions in the prayer. It is great because of the victory it can give us today.
What was this divinely appointed “hour”? It was the time when He would be glorified through His death, resurrection, and ascension.
Deceived world, dangerous word, defiled world, divided world.
Resistance of temptation must come from man, who must draw his power from God. On the one side there is infinite wisdom, compassion, and power; on the other, weakness, sinfulness, absolute helplessness. AA 482.2.
The believer, then, is secure in Christ for many reasons: the very nature of God, the nature of Salvation, the Glory of God, and the intercessory ministry of Christ. For the simple reason that Judas was never one of Christ’s own. Jesus faithfully kept all that the father gave to him, but Judas had never been given to him by the father.

They have kept Thy Word - God’s truth has been given to us in three editions. His word is Truth, His Sons is Truth and His Spirit is Truth.
Words of Christ gives Joy - Joy comes by transformation and not substitution (John 16:20–22). His inward joy gives us the strength to overcome.
Eternal life, the knowledge of the Father, Christ’s intercession on their behalf, Divine Protection and Eternal Joy.
The unity that exists between Christ and His disciples does no destroy the personality of either.
Seeking father’s glory, Security, Sanctity and Unity.
It is special and peculiar, unchangeable and inseparable.
